2011 BMW X6 Bowling Green
The 2011 BMW X6 is BMW’s answer to sportiness, performance, and cargo room. This crossover coupe/SUV is a unique design that looks like a coupe; but has the room of an SUV.
The BMW X6 is available in two trim levels: the xDrive35i and xDrive50i. The BMW X6 xDrive35i comes standard with front and rear parking sensors, power tailgate, automatic bi-xenon headlights, and sunroof. Automatic wipers, ten-way power front seats, leather upholstery, and cruise control are also standard features of the X6. The media center includes BMW’s iDrive electronics interface, a ten-speaker premium audio system with HD radio and an auxiliary audio jack.
The X6 xDrive50i adds to the xDrive35i with 14-way multi-contour front seats, Bluetooth, navigation system, rear DVD player and entertainment system.
All BMW X6 models come standard with multiple safety features, including front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and, active head restraints. Anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control and hill descent control are also standard safety systems on the BMW X6.
The xDrive35i and xDrive50i models are built with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system and use an 8-speed automatic transmission. The xDrive35i is built with a turbocharged 3.0-Liter incline-6 engine that pumps out up to 300 horsepower. The xDrive50i uses a twin-turbo 4.4-Liter V8 engine that puts out 400 horsepower.
An ActiveHybrid X6 model is also available. This model uses the traditional twin-turbo 4.4-Liter V8 engine in combination with an electric motor that can put out up to 480 horsepower. The ActiveHybrid X6 is built with a seven-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control.
